Our Mission
Our mission is simple, we strive to provide support, both physically and spiritually, to the homeless, disadvantaged, and working poor of our community.
What We Do
The Tioga County Open Door Mission is a faith based organization and is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. The Mission and its second location, The Red Door has provided housing, clothing, food and other financial assistance to the disadvantaged and needy families in Tioga County and surrounding areas since 1968. The Mission supports the shelter and all of its outreach programs through the proceeds from its two thrift stores, grants, and private donations.
