"I am thankful for the laughs and relationships we have at work that allow us to get the work that we do done, and that work is like a family, we pick on each other and of course sometimes there are disagreements but everyone has your back."
"Family and friends"
"My kids of course"
As much as I wanted to sneak out of having to reflex on my life and not answer this "simple" question I thought it was only fair if I had to come up with an answer too. I decided this year I am most thankful for being needed. I realize that it is a rather odd thing to be thankful for because isn't that what always causing stress in our lives everyone needing something from us, but as much as it causes stress in our lives it also keeps us driven and in many ways defines who we are. I guess I am thankful that my coworkers depend on me to work hard as a team player to help the Mission run, and my friends who expect me to be there for them when they are going through a challenging time, and my family for having expectation of me as a daughter and sister. All these expectations push me to grow, and I am so thankful to have people in my life that encourage me to keep moving forward.
We hope that maybe this blog post will encourage you to reflex on what you are thankful for this year, maybe even ask your friends or family what their answers are, or maybe you would rather reflex on it privately, either way we hope it got you thinking. Happy Thanksgiving everyone from the Mission family to yours.
